steering wheel jerking
hey guys just had a 90 mile home the marina dident miss a beat i found the clutch and first gear a bit strange at first it would judder a bit when taking off in first gear. but when i come to slow down the steering wheel shakes a fair bit i think it may be play in the bushes but on the MOT it dident mention any of this. what could it be ?

Re: steering wheel jerking
Steering wheel shudder under braking on any car is usually either knacked suspension bushes or warped brake disks.

Re: steering wheel jerking
I agree most likely warped front brake disks - loads on Ebay and will take a morning to replace on your drive.

Re: steering wheel jerking
Clutch judder could be engine mounts/gerabox mounts
As others have said, steering issue could be discs, perhaps just corrosion where the car has been stood?
Worth looking at the bushes yourself, MOT inspections are not perfect, a set of Superflex bushes are a good investment so worth changing anyway.
