His last post was -
Yay! My car was registered in March 74..so there's a slim chance it was built on or before Jan that year?... we live in hope
on the 22nd of March and did not sound like he was depressed!
Have they checked the boot? Maybe he was doing a film and got locked in?

Sadly depressed people don't necessarily act depressed; my cousin committed suicide through depression. I was talking to him two days before and he was looking forward to his cruise holiday around the Caribbean; the day he was supposed to leave was the day they found him. No-one had a clue.....

Yep, if somebody is depressed it can be surprisingly difficult to tell sometimes. Some people bottle it all up inside them until it all becomes too much.

It is especially difficult to gauge how somebody is feeling through typed posts on the internet. For example some posts I have made here in a light hearted manner have been dismissed as rants or moaning....then that makes me depressed!

I have been reading this thread with interest, i do hope someone finds poor Alex before he does something silly, i know all too well how depression can destroy a perfectly normal person and how it takes them off in a very dark direction, lets all keep our fingers crossed that he turns up safe and sound, i for one will be thinking of him over easter.
