Front hub challenge

Post by morley faulkner » Sun Feb 23, 2014 8:47 pm

Hi,
I am new to this forum so please bear with me.

I had decided to fit Marina disc brakes to my Morris Minor Van. Saw set of Marina uprights complete with brake assemblies for sale on our (NZ) equivalent of Ebay.
Removed stub axles machined Van upright to fit Marina axle. All went well till I tried to fit wheels.!!! You guessed it. Wrong PCD.
Is there anybody out there in NZ who can tell me where I can get a set of hubs compatible to MM wheels.

The Marina 10 cwt / 575 kg Van or Pickup models have the same hub bearings etc. but have a 4.5" PCD.

Finding a pair will be the challenge.

Try the NZ MM Owners Club. Otherwise you might have to look at one of the overseas conversion kit suppliers like Morris Garages (Aus) or ESM Morris Minor Spares (UK).
