Project Sun Tor

Post by Al Williams » Sat Dec 08, 2007 3:08 pm

It's been a while and not really done an awful lot but!

A chance visit to my mates place over in Cheshire turned up a small diameter sporty steering wheel!

This was unusual as he is into Mk3 Cortina's and the story goes, a few years ago a work mate gave it to him as he was into classic cars...

I turn up in the 1300 Dolly and mention the Marina, which he is jealous of, and he gives the wheel to me on the promise, if it doesn't fit, he could have it back.
Well it fits!

Managed to clean up the front panel behind the grill and given it a coat of black smoothrite before the rain set in.

Mental note, buy house with garage.....!
