I've tons of them myself. I wish someone would remanufacture the actual trims though.
Has anyone tried that chrome stick on trim you can pick up from Halfords? I may give it a go myself on PTH.

Stealing Chris' thunder a bit, but there's some pictures on his website- HERE and go to "External Trim" in the menu on the left of the page.

I've never actually seen the clips myself, although I need to get some. The arch trim is quite hard to find these days in my experience so sounds like you've done well there ;)

A quick look through the Bresco website is very informative. Also shows other cars that share various fixings too. I found them to be a right old pain to fit and also you'll need quite a narrow pop riveter to fit. Get your waxoyl the rear arches through the fixing holes before fitting. Especially the areas where it meets the sill sections.
Dont bother with the stick on stuff. Looks poo!T

Yea, the stick on stuff will probably look poop. There were two different types of trim clips used (as far as I know) Early ones had sprung pins on an oval tab which would slide into trim first then you'd line up the threads to the holes in the wheel arch lip then do up the nuts from behind.
The later type are pop riveted and fitted first.

According to the mk1 parts manual each end of the trim was secured by threaded clips, to pull them up to the bodywork. The rest of the clips are riveted to the wheel arches and then the trim fits over the clips with the help of the heal and of your hand or a rubber mallet.

BL probably fitted whatever was to hand! On PTH before I repaired the wheel arches the remains of the sprung threaded type clips were fitted along the entire arch.

Trim clips are on eBay both types. Been on there for ages and Chris is right 2x threaded fixings on ends and the rest are pop riveted to the arch. The actual stainless trims for rear arches are very hard to get hold of so if you have some you doing well

Given the availability of the stainless steel trims, I personally don't mind plastic trim on a car if it's that all there is available. It's the sort of thing that needs to be saved when anyone breaks a car, like screen trim.

There were some used original trim on EBay last week, about £40 a piece.

It's the sort of thing you see at Peterborough BMC/BL Rally in its original wrapper for £10-£15 a piece.

I think the rivet type clips are the same as mk1 mini to hold the moustache trim on the front grill....cant remember what bolt type clip goes ether end of the marina trim.

I used to own a mk1 Ford Escort and I remember the trim that run along the boot edge was held with similar clips to the bolt up type. Fords seem better catered for when it comes to spares so may be worth a look if Marina clips get really hard to find.

The end clips are the same as Ford Capri. The hockey stick trim on the back.
