Global Marinas

Dear all.

I view this forum as the definitive site for Marina owners world wide.
As such, I wish to give a huge vote of thanks to Ben for persevering in the face of adversity for many years - we are a minority group - and all the better for it.
I value the opinions of all who post here - our cars have been out of production for more than 30 years and yet we are all still learning new stuff.
How amazing is that.?

I have enjoyed meeting a number of people via this site, and have found them to be of similar mindset to myself, and thus worthy of mention.
We are all interested in preserving a marque that has survived despite being much maligned by the motoring press in general, and some factions in particular.
I do not wish to name them as that will simply give them more response via google and others.

Just know that I personally view you all as the most important people on the planet, and I am never more happy than when I am driving one of my Marinas.
That is very easy to say because it is true.
It is 2016.
Who would have thought...?

I wish you all a vibrant 2016 and I applaud your continuing interest in the humble Morris Marina.
Take a bow - your tastes are most worthy.

Huge respect from me down here in the South Pacific Ocean.
A little too far for middle eastern refugees.....

So that's nice.

Kilroy,
From this side of the pond. I for one would like to applaud your sentiments & well balanced post . We may be the few , but the determination of marina owners to keep our cars
Alive & well maintained is as strong as ever, & still seen on the roads (As Buzz said )
To Infinity & Beyond....
The Club is well run with a forward looking committee as seen on the forum, long may they
continue...
You yourself as a member of our " Southern Hemisphere Branch " contribute greatly with
Informative articles , so Happy 2016 & take a well earned bow as well....

Happy Marinaing....

All this would not be possible if it were not for the people that have taken the time over the years to make this forum what it is today.

I started out 13 years ago (Christ! It doesn't feel that long) to create a resource that would cater for modified Marinas. At the time there was very little information on the Internet about the various routes one could take.

The forum soon became a haven for everything Marina and Ital, and spans the world with its users.

I can only ask that you people keep up what you are doing, to do what the forum does well.

Thank you for your continued support, and long may it continue.

As I have said previously on here, my role within the Owners Club has meant my time is spread wider and there will be some alterations to the forum very soon. This won't remove any key functions but will make it easier for me to manage.

Speaking about the Club, if you are not already I really recommend joining and getting more from the world of Marinas and Itals! I'm currently working on the next magazine that is due out early February! Shameless plug I know but hey! Why not share the love of our cars even further with an extended Marina family!
