Euro Marinas
Could any of our mainland Europe friends / members give me any photos of differences that got shipped with the EU cars?
This will be mine very soon and I would like to write some articles about euro cars.

Re: Euro Marinas
Can't say I have seen a single Marina in Spain, but I am primarily on the med, east coast.
Will be doing some travelling westwards this year, perhaps to Portugal.
Where was the Marina assembly factory there, it might be a region to start with.

Not a Marina owner, built in 1985 from a 1974 1.8TC MOT failure.

Re: Euro Marinas
I think all Marinas in Europe (aside from Malta) were built in Cowley. They would have been shipped through Belgium at the Seneffe distribution plant. There were P.D.I'd here and made more euro friendly. http://www.aronline.co.uk/blogs/around- ... n-seneffe/

Re: Euro Marinas
So where did I get the idea that some Marinas were assembled in Portugal?
The UK had consistently good relations with them and were hated by the Franco regime in Spain.

Re: Euro Marinas
Yes, my apologies. Both the Marina and Ital were assembled in Portugal, both labelled "Marina". They would have been assembled their in CKD form like Maltese cars.jiversteve wrote:So where did I get the idea that some Marinas were assembled in Portugal?
