I know it is like asking how long is a piece of string but as I may be selling my marina in order to get a coupe I wondered whether anyone could help with a valuation. It is a 1980 W reg 1.7 saloon in sandglow. Just coming up to 26,000 mls on the clock.
Condition wise the car is solid, it has had a respray and looks very respectable. The paint is showing some wear on the gutters and some rust is starting go come through there but it is minor and should be an easy job to sort. Interior is clean and tidy, has a tear in the drivers seat and along the top of the rear seat as usual. Door cards are in good condition as well as the carpet. Underside is good and original too, only been welded once for this years MOT on a jacking point. Has the regular hole in the boot from water ingress but it is only on one side. Has very good shut lines and looks very nice when cleaned and polished. Could do with a nearside end cap for the front bumper from the accident I had in january.
Running wise the car is very good. Engine runs nicely and starts well all the time. I have been using the car as my daily and it gets me to work and back everyday and copes with traffic and standing around in rush hour very well. Never broken down on me! Gearbox is good for a marina, have to give it a few wiggles to get it in first and reverse if stationary sometimes but it goes in okay. It has a NOS brake master cylinder recently fitted along with recon front calipers and pads. Also has a new clutch slave fitted.
Overall it is in very good condition, think I have described everything but if you need anything answering to figure a valuation then let me know!

Re: Marina value
I have given you an idea via a PM.
I have to say that if someone wants a good very low miles 1.7 to run for the show season this sounds like a possible prize winner.
