Sad News - Tiny Thornber
It is with great sadness I have to tell you that Tiny Thornber passed away today.
Many of you will know Tiny through the Morris Marina Owners Club, as an area rep, area rep co-ordinator, national show organiser, NEC show organiser, MVA rep and just as a great bloke to be with. It is a very sad loss for Dawn, Simon and Simon's family. The club has lost a great member, who would always give his time and advice unstintingly. Although we met up rarely, I counted Tiny as a friend and will miss him greatly.
There is no information yet on funeral arrangements or whether Dawn will want to support a particular charity with donations. In anticipation of a nominated charity I have opened the club donations PayPal account at "donations@morrisital.org.uk".
I will post here once we know what the funeral arrangements are.

Re: Sad News - Tiny Thornber
Very sad indeed. A great man and so dedicated to the club.
Having met him many times, 'worked' at the NEC show for a few years with him and in constant contact with him it's been very sad news to take today.
The loss of Tiny and a devastating loss last Friday for me -2017 is proving to be a shit year so far.
RIP Tiny.

Re: Sad News - Tiny Thornber
I am glad I had the chance to chat and spend a small amount of time with Tiny when I was at the NEC a couple of years back.
He was a great person with a fantastic sense of humor.
Sad news indeed and thoughts go out to Dawn, Simon and Family.

Re: Sad News - Tiny Thornber
Read of Tiny's passing with deep regret.
"Tiny " in name only, a big man in all sences of the word.
A stalwart in the club, with the support of his family took on the N E C motor show & lifted it to a new level. Proud to have you as a friend.
We'll miss you Mark.
Our thoughts with Dawn, Simon & family...

Re: Sad News - Tiny Thornber
I've been thinking what to post since I read this on Wednesday, I don't know what to say. Only really had one good chat with Tiny and Simon over lunch on a road run. Really wish I'd made the effort before, really nice chap. My thoughts are with all concerned.
