I just tried to edit the ad that I've placed in the classified section for the 1972 Marina 1800 Dl, but there does not seem to be a facility to do that?...Or maybe I'm not looking properly? :oops:

Anyway, I just wanted to add that the car comes with a few more spares in the boot, as well ...

I would like to attend this event, but unfortunately, I fear due to the costs of petrol these days, the round trip would cost more than my car is actually worth! :lol:

Sorted it.
Just removed starter, oiled well, and hey presto!...Good as new!
Not the pre-engaged type though.
After standing in a garage 14 years, the car runs incredibly well, and starts first turn of the key! :-D
Only done 34k, and the engine sounds really sweet.

I'm new to the world of Marina ownership.
Just bought a 1972 Marina 1.8 DL
Been sat for years in a garage (14), and the starter motor does not turn the engine.
Had the car running after a bump start, so I know the engine is fine.
Bridged the starter solonoid, again seems fine.
