Hi

I mean the Glass channel, I cant find any for sale, but the landrover 90/110 one does look very much the same in every respect, and I might expect some stuff like this to be shared across the BL range.

Someone suggested a mini one somewhere on this forum, but they are significantly different so ...

Glass Channel

Hi Everyone,

I am in desperate need for a new Glass Channel for my Ital front passenger window, which has rotted and cannot be used.

Does anyone know where I can find one and if this is similar to any other channels for other BL products.

I have seen some on ebay for defender 90's and 110's ...

Agree - certainly doesnt feel like spring in yorkshire - it's been freezing! even my diesel rover 45 struggled to start the other day it was so cold and it heats the fuel beforehand!

Mind you, my dafodils thought it was spring, but now seem to have that look of complete shock like when you thrown ...

Yeah, I got a clutch disc, plate and bearing (3 piece kit)

I'm delighted with it, all that remains now is to get someone to fit it of course (although found decent bloke just on the next street with a small garage) he just did our metro for MOT.

Will uodate when the old girl is back in running ...

Just thought I'd update this, I got a full clutch kit on ebay for £27 - it's arrived and is just as it should be and is a BorgBeck.

Personally I think that was a bargain.

Full clutch kit - any good suppliers?

I think I want to replace my clutch completely, its been sticking and has damaged the slave cyclinder, which I have a replacement for, bu the cluch has been playing up for a while so rather than just replace the cylinder with a dodgy stiff clutch, I think just bite the bullet and get it all done the ...

Stupid question i know but....?

What bettery should I buy to replace mine on my 1.3 1981 Ital?

I havent bought a battery for years, but this is the old type and I think rather than resurrect it now, get a spanking new one.

There are a few sharks at these events, £125 for a wing! and a ridiculous amount for door skins.

All this will result in is more Marina's and Ital's scrapped, as less informed, less able enthusiasts will simply be unable to do the work or unable to afford the huge cost of keeping the cars going ...

Anyone want to save it, the seller clearly not bothered if it's ripped up for a minor.

Rattling Brakes

Hi Guys,

My brakes are rattling, I know it's the pads because when i press the brake pedal the rattling stops.

Is this a simple anti-rattle clip issue? I haven't looked yet, but my haynes manual makes no reference to it so I need to be sure of what i'm doing.

I just remember having this ...
