what engine is this

what engine is this
My engine in my van looks like a morris minor with the front engine mounts on the timing cover, the engine number is 12V247E-H338 can any one help i was told it is a 1300 thanks Richard (d13ker67)

1100's (or rather 1098's) start with 10v Ben 
Hence..
10V = 1098
12V = 1275
15V = 1500 Diesel
18V = 1800
12V247E-H338 Stands for: 1275, inline, Dynamo, mechanical fuel pump, Centre gearbox, crankcase ventilated, high compression engine number: 338
Very early one by the look of it.. i.e. 237th engine of that spec built. first one was number 101
Hence..
