The rubber mats won`t be any good for you Paul, they are complete replacements for carpet on the deluxe, not just mats.

Oh sorry Frank!
I was thinking Saloon Mats in this car, but I guess you mean if it was a van the rubber mats would be worth saving :?:
Unless they have fitted van rubber mats in it

I do have some rubber mats but I have repaired them so they will not take much wear as they have had many miles already

8) Basically all the standard `Deluxe` cars had tailored rubber mats fitted instead of carpets similar to the van but with the sill sides moulded in as well, plus of course the rear area as well, great if you want to keep your van looking original instead of fitting carpets

Well just got home from work to an answer phone message , unfortunately the guy i had been talking to has passed away so his nephews wife had left me a message , so I called her back and she has said I can have the car ,

so I am going to get the car towed to somewhere near my house and break it as it it rough as hell , but I will salvage any thing I can

are there any bits that I should be on the look out for like the chrome gutter trim

thanks in advance for any info

The gutter trim is worth saving Andrew, give me a call and i will try and explain an easy way to remove them without bending them!, they bend very easily and are no use if peeled off carelessly  .
The wipers look like the old `speedwipe` type which were a nice period extra, also both bumpers look useable if rechromed, i`m up for the rubber flooring if it still in good nick  .

A bit of a clean and some turtle wax and it will be fine lol.
Shame it cant be saved, how bad is the rot underneath? Would the doors be salvagable? Plus all the glass, windscreens. I presume the engine is seized and the brakes too?

i only have a week to strip it down at my brother in laws place.

front grill
bonnet if it is any good
all chrome
lights
badges
boot
in side trim - seat rubber floor mat
door handles if any good -
ignition
tool kit

any off the doors not too far gone
if they are
