What about the front hubs? Are they for sale too? Are they 4.5" pcd?

The Ebay add shows axle and hubs plus engine and box for sale as a whole.
Hubs are described as 4.5 pcd!

I think he was asking a bit much for a whole package.
The parts would be of interest to several enthusiasts, and may well be better marketed seperately.
The axle is very specific and unless mated to a 5 speed box would be unsuitable for a road car. It would best suit an existing Trials car.
The front suspension would be a hybrid Minor/Marina Van but with the hubs at 4.5"PCD larger than the standard 4"PCD Minor. If someone has a Minor with a Ford rear axle then that might suit as a front upgrade. Cheaper than the sets offered by JLH Minors
The engine and gearbox could end up anywhere, whether another Minor, a Marina or a Kit car etc.

What we dont know is if there was any private communication going on behind the eBay advert.

The original ebay listing was mentioned on the Marlin Owners Club forum, and their trials rep is aware the parts are available.
It would be a shame if the whole set were weighed in, as the axle itself is quite a rarity and it may take a while before it finds a good home as it has such a specialist application.
