well it had been decided that funds wont going to give the mumford a new hood so i set about trying to refit the original (shrunk) hood back on, was bloody tite but got there............. :)

Bearing in mind it hadnt been fitted on a car for about 14 years, quite pleased how it turned out :)

what material did u use for the top rail.
hood looking good - but i guess it wouldn't be used much :) - if you're anything like me the car only comes out on sunny days :)

I got some dense rubberised foam to fit in the top rail, trimmed and fitted it to size then revoved it and covered it with some original Navy vinyl from the original rear seat :) recycling :)

well took the Mumford to a local car show today, quite a good turnout of about 200 cars, Mumford managed to pick off the competition from the Capri's Cortina's and Escorts tho as it won its class of the 70's vehicles :)

Had a lot of positive comments from the day too which was nice, people actually admitting they liked a marina lol whatever next!

When people actually see a good one they start admitting they were just as good if not better than other cars of that time.

I had the same result when my car stole 1st from a Crayford MK3 cortina 8)
