Needs work but can't be that bad? Isn't this one from the Bristol area once upon a time?

Mk 1.5 tc coupe! Cool!

That's who I was thinking about. Jim mentioned seeing it when he collected his.

I remember Tony had those alloys so I'm pretty sure it's his old one.Hoping to have a look at it soon

Addict!

Still I guess you have most of the panels needed to get it done Matt? I'm tempted but I've enough on my plate at the moment with the business and a Triumph Stag.. ahem!

That looks a lot like the one that was in someone's garden (big stone gate, think it was originally the entrance to a manor house or similar) just up the hill from me- was in Horsley, near Stroud in Gloucestershire. Dissapeared a few weeks ago- I never stopped to have a proper look at it unfortunately. Anyone know if it is?

I don't think it looks that bad. At least the rear wings are in far better condition than the ones on my Mumford were when I first bought it.

Yes, that is definately Tony Free's old TC, from Trowbridge in Wiltshire.
Wasn't it recently re-discovered and posted on here?

Jim's Tundra TC Coupe also once belonged to Tony Free!!!!

Crumbs, looks like its in my neck of the woods now Dave. Shame its been allowed to deteriorate like that, however the rear end doesn't look too bad. Would make an ideal project for someone. Is it black tulip or midnight blue? Can't tell on my monitor.

Yep! That is my old TC and the first one that got me into Marinas many years ago!!(Oh Happy Days) :D

I like the ad:
i bought this for my grandad to relive his youth,it is a bit too much work for him..
this is a rare tc and is complete, it requires complete restoration.
it still has all th rare tc bits, aftermarket period alloys, avonspeed.
this has been a boy racer car, graphic equliser and pioneer speakers, spotlights, sports exhaust but still has the original cast 3 into 2 manifold. back in the day.it has spax rear shocks, aftermarket alloys, fade strip, and aftermarke t steering wheel, probably had some engine work but not sure, showing 76k,good chrome, nice interior and very good doorcards.factory webasto sunroof, good condition, would make an ideal project car or make a good donor car,as many hard too find bits such as centre console, and 3 dial clocks, etc.
this is a coupe and not a family saloon.
carbs have been removed, but are still present, engine condition unknown.
i have been told there are only 35 tcs coupe and saloons on the road. i wonder if this one will make it 36!
07521935664.
I fitted the rear and front fogs and the aftermarket alloys(Avon Safety wheels) Car was fitted with Spaxs and Police spec rear leaf springs. Also I fitted the sunroof and front Ital lip! Car went very well and I visited the family in Germany with it! No engine work done on the engine during my ownership.Colour of the car is Aconite. Wings definetely need replacing. Worth saving and it would be nice to see it back on the road. Anyone?

Ben,you're right, but you can't get enough of a good thing .

The vendor thinks it needs sills as well as the front end.Unless it's seriously rotten underneath the panels aren't a problem,it's just getting someone to fit them..........FRANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
