From info recieved, they have an on-site dump/store at Dunsfold which is actually a damn great industrial/council estate built around the old Dunsfold Aerodrome. So far, apart from scrap, the only vehicle to have left with any chance of a future was the Triumph Dolomite they tried to kill a couple of series ago; the mint Princess still rots there as does the half rebuilt Rover SD1 along with loads of other tat.

As for emailing them.... good luck!
The classic car movement needs Jeremy Clarkson like Jenson Button needs a towhitch and a Sprite Musketeer....

Not quite - there is no dump/store around Dunsfold area, the cars are plonked literally behind the unit where it is filmed. You can see the cars yourself if you visit, although they are roped-off. I've been on-set a few times.

It is true that they sat for a long time rotting, but since May this year the majority (including the Princess) were transferred to Beaulieu for the Top Gear exhibition :

The 'Ice Race' Marina, I was told, was scrapped in France.

Beaulieu is well worth a visit if you've not been.

Don't worry! the marina used during the 'ice race' was not scrapped, it was moved to the store at Dunsfold airfield, the blue marina still survives at the secret top gear technology center.........in Didcot, having been moved there due to lack of space at dunsfold, the blue marina was replaced by the white ice race car and there is an extremely bent marina coupe there awaiting to be scrapped.

Here is a video of the blue marina at dunsfold:

Thanks for sharing that video. Do you know if there will be any chance for the cars to be stripped of useful parts (mechanical, trim etc) before they are crushed?

I guess TG are clearing out their yard as I know a few people who have seen the yard and there is all sorts in there. Just about every 'challenge' car, all the Marinas and a few other classics such as the cars featured in the 'BL Challenge' episode including the Datsun 120Y. Would seem a shame just to see them all crushed without yielding any useful parts :(
