Can anyone tell me if mgb downpipes can be used on a TC?

At a pinch, they are a little deeper (bottom to closer to the ground), so they don't line up perfectly.
You can fit it and then run the engine v hot and then get a jack under the rear of the downpipe and lift it up gently to the required position. Then turn the engine off and let it all cool down.

They are also longer from the lower bends to the Y joint. I had one in stainless but faced with the modifications needed, I gave it away to a mate with an mgb.
