Gearbox mounting rubbers

Hi all, does anyone know where I can buy gearbox mounting rubbers for a 1980 1.3 Marina? Longbridge Motor Spares advertises them, but again doesn't get back to me.

Seem to quite a few for sale but not to fit my Marina.

As always, any advice gratefully received.

Cheers, Rob

Rear shock absorbers

Hi folks, I bought a pair of shockers from eBay in Nov, the seller checked my reg and assured me they were the correct ones. (Can you see where this is going?!) roll on April and the nicer weather, and it was time to do the job. Turns out my original eyebolt top bush is ½” and the new one is 3/8”. I ...

Re: Cooling...

Hi Chris, an update. I bought the temperature sender unit you suggested (from Ang classics) two attempts at postage later and I finally received the part and fitted it today! Good news, the engine temp is now back in the green zone, hurrah! Many thanks for your advice.

Re: Cooling...

Hey Chris, it’s the 1.3, if that is the case (and thanks for the advice) strange that this started randomly?

Re: Cooling...

Hi all, me again… prior to my rad flush I had been experiencing the engine temp remaining low, not getting out of the blue zone, but the needle is most definitely working/moving. I was hoping the flush may solve this, which had come on without obvious cause. Prior to this, the engine ran perfectly ...

Re: Cooling...

Hi folks, talking all things cooling. I'm planning on doing a rad flush shortly and wondered if you recommend a specialist anti-freeze for the older engine?
