Re: another one - brought home
If Norway was part of the EU it would be a piece of p*ss to import, but as it isn't it gets a bit more complicated (and having brought a bike in from Gibraltar, I ruddy well know how arsey the DVLA/C&E can get....).
Mind you, the Norwegians are sensible.....

Re: The Marina - as seen on TV
My money is on the Dr who Marina as being Wild Moss - a dark brown. The only other contender for a 1972 car (standard wiper pattern) is dark blue.Black tulip cars and mallard green cars all had light coloured seats, and the car in the pic appears to have dark seats probably black.

A rev counter is for me a very useful aid to make sure that I cruise at economical revs, change gear up at the right time, change down at the right time and dont blow the engine by over revving.

You can also put larger tyres on the car to get better performance and economy and grip.My TC runs on 175-R13 tyres and even a 1.3 has enough torque to run on 165R13 (not 70 series).I have been to Malta this year and saw some Marinas fitted with larger aftermarket wheels -some Maltese Marinas are ...

Re: Difference between Deluxe, Super, Super Deluxe?
Opening front quarterlights if original suggests that this is a ckd kit if this car is from Malta where they were locally assembled. The engine bay being a non standard Mk2 colour also makes me think this may not be a normal UK built car.Colours and specs for Malta were decided locally and could use ...

Re: SDX 1.3 1975 year trim.
Just one other thing...
DL's had rubber flooring and SDL's had carpets and extra chrome around the front and rear windscreens.
Padded door trim tops/cappings as opposed to painted I seem to recall.
Most 1975 cars had silver plastic inserted into the channels around the front and rear screens ...
