Ok but I want one of these!!

“The one-millimeter thick continuous steel belt will roll at over 180mph, and features sensors under the bed that can take readings at each wheel. At top speed the wind tunnel fan will circulate 2.85 million cubic feet of air per minute! The facility will be available for rental to motorsports teams and manufacturers when it opens later this year. And yes, that’s a genuine actual-size race car up on the rollers.â€￾

We will have to convert the garage to a wind tunnel as well!

One at each wheel...
'73 MG Marina Turbo Saloon - Back on the road with T16 turbo power
'72 TC Coupe' 'SLK' - 1950cc - Asleep - possible retirement project E.T.A 2049

The "B" series came from the same Supplier where the new shell that was used to make the Suntor Brian owns now(i think) origiated from, can't remember the companys name but the business was in Doncaster this place had loads of engines and boxes for all the BL/Austin Morris range as well as at that time new van shells (but their prices were not cheap) ,in fact if the firm is still going it might be worth contacting them to see if there's any Marina stuff still left,Brian will know better than me.

P.S :P just spoke to Grahame (northeast marina) and In his own words "no matter how i drive Christine (mk1a T.C. saloon) i never get more than 25 to the gallon, even after being rolling road tuned" gentleman i rest my case

SLK.. If you want economy from a TC fit a modern engine - "Just to powerful by far!"
I have the following items in my tool repetoir AND the knowledge & skill to operate them!

1 Sykes Pickavant dwell meter
2 Gunsons Tachostrobe
3 Gunsons Colortune
4 Gunsons Carbalancer
5 Snap On 4 gas Exhaust Gas Analyser

Now the reference to the rolling road, this was something I carried out to satisfy my own curiosity.
The proprietor of Autotune (Dinnington) Ltd, & I quote "these twin carb B series engines are a pile of shite, but this one's been set up properly, you're producing 74 B.H.P. at the wheels"

Now I admit I may not be the biggest fan of the B series but when you are offered 2 crated stripped engines for £200 each, you would be silly to turn them down, or would you?
The engines in question came from DD Automotive in Doncaster in 1991, the same place as I bought the new shell for my Suntor!

 ZZZZZTEC just too FORDISH & kitcarish by far
