Wow, quite a substantial difference in the bottom joint and where the caliper mounts. :surprised:

UK leg (courtesy of Kilroy) vs Aussie leg.

Other Aussie differences are the "I-beam" has been turned 90 degrees, and the steering arm curves up (the rack was raised 30mm iirc).

Ben this is how yours will turn up.As you can see the hub & upright weighs in at 8kgs.Times this by 2 packaging @ 18-20 kgs.

I took them to work & gave them a sandblast to get rid of grease & build up,that saved 3kgs. :-D

Will UK trunnions and top ball joints fit or will you be using Aussie ones?

Looks like the trunions are gonna have to be Aussie spec. Not sure about the ball joints.

Ball joints are supposed to be the same.
Can you get new trunnion shaft & sleeve kits ?
These uprights were apparently used in the South African v8 rally car.

We don't have sleeve kits over here. They do a larger trunion kit that has its own sleeve that would "repair" a UK leg. They wouldn't suit the Aussie one I wouldn't think. Unless it could be fitted without its sleeve.. Interesting thought..
